Free Emotional Support Animal Letter

For most people, Dogs are more than just animals their families own. They’re members of the family and sometimes their best friends.

Unfortunately, the joy of owning a pet goes hand-in-hand with the heartbreak of losing one, whether because of old age, illness, or an accident.

Recently, I and my wife went through one of the more intensely painful times of our lives – the euthanasia of our beloved pet (family member) “Daisy”. I remembered the moments before she took her last breath – she flashed me a look that was an endearing blend of confusion and the reassurance that everyone was ok because we were both by her side.

People who have never had a pet they think it’s all a bit of an overreaction by their dog-owning friends mourn the loss of a pet, after all, it’s “just a dog.” see.

However, those who love a dog actually know the truth facts: for lovers is never “just a dog.”
Most times, I’ve had friends they feel more over the loss of a dog than over the loss of relatives or friends. Research has confirmed that for most people, the loss of a dog is, in almost every way, comparable to the loss of a human loved one. Unfortunately, there’s no grief rituals, no obituary in the local newspaper, no religious service available to help us get through the loss of a dogs, which can make us feel more than a bit embarrassed to show too much public grief over our dead dogs.

If people realized just how strong and intense the bond is between human and their dogs, such grief would become more widely accepted. This would greatly help dog owners to integrate the death into their lives and help them move forward.

So I want to tell people that having pets either dogs or any pets give you stress free life. There are various agencies that offer ESA letters. ESA means 'Emotional Support Animal', and almost anyone can have an ESA, which works similarly to support dogs.  Any animal species can be an ESA (rabbits, cats, birds, dogs, etc.).

Emotional Support Animal

A service animal means several dogs that are independently qualified to do work or perform tasks for the advantage of a creature with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Tasks performed can include, among other things, pull a wheelchair or retrieve drop items.

An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) is an animal that can provide emotional and therapeutic benefit to those suffering with an emotional disability, anxiety or psychiatric disability. Most often an emotional support animal is a dog but we have seen other animals like pigs also registered.”

In order to benefit from the centralized law protection under the United States, a person must have a note from a approved mental health counselor or doctor stating the person has the disability and the animal provides emotional support benefit the person with the disability. The animal doesn’t need specific working abilities to become and emotional support animal.”

Ever since pet came to my life, I no longer fear to get out of bed due to my apprehension and depression. Instead, I cannot wait to get up and take my puppy for a walk. He brings me joy and happiness and my apprehension is significantly reduced.

Here is some settlement of spending time with your emotional support animal during the holidays:

1. You will in no way be alone. You will have a loyal friend and you won’t feel rejected by family members or having to “force” yourself to spend too much time with them just because you don’t want to be alone.

2. He or she will provide you with entertainment and you will not spend so much time watching TV which is really not the best way when you are struggling with anxiety and depression.

3. He will make you spend more time in the open and exercise. Exercise is key not just for healthy weight, but it releases  and serotonin that helps regulate your mood.

4. He or she will challenge you to learn new things and your life will have a whole new meaning.

5. My favorite – he or she will be a source of unconditional love.

Having an animal travel companion may alleviate symptoms of apprehension and despair associated with PDSC.  Many people say that having a connection with pet decrease levels of stress, promote an active lifestyle and increases engagement in physical activity, and provide a sense of comfort and close companionship. You may also be more likely to increase social interactions with other pet owners at parks or beaches because you share comparable interests.

Although more technical research is needed to evaluate the benefit of emotional support animals on PDSC, many people report a decrease in stress from having a fuzzy companion. Some researchers worry that individuals who have an emotional support animal may be inhibited from seeking professional help. However, having a restorative animal can serve as a bridge to getting help and becoming engaged in their recovery.

In some states, the description of an emotional support animal allows the handler to bring a dog or cat to places in which they would be otherwise excluded. For example, some housing or apartment complexes may allow the tenant to own a pet if it is recommended by a doctor. The dog owner may also be able to fly on a plane if permitted by the airline. To get special consideration, the dog owner needs to show a letter of commendation and qualifications from the mental health provider.

Taking care of a pet is a huge conscientiousness and for some people it is optional to wait until their symptoms improve to own a pet.  Additionally, it is strongly recommended for the safety and well-being of the public that the pet take delivery of formal training and qualifications to become a therapy dog.
